Presidential Candidates and Their Teeth

Schedule An Appointment

Luckily, teeth have no influence on who will be our next president. But, for our sanity and something besides rhetoric and empty promises, let’s talk about their teeth.

Here’s a run down of the presidential candidates and their obvious (and not so obvious) dentistry.

Donald Trump

Donald Trump

It didn’t take a genius to figure this one out. He’s definitely had full mouth restorations. Although hard to tell from photos, I would guess the majority of them are veneers. The dentistry was done by Dr. Larry Rosenthal, world renowned dentist out of NYC.

The give away is how white and uniform the teeth are. A guy that is pushing 70 would never have teeth that color naturally. That shade belongs on a 16 year old highschooler.

John Kasich

All American, natural smile right here. There has been no cosmetic dentistry done to enhance or whiten his teeth. I even compared earlier photos and everything checks out.

Ted Cruz

Honestly, it’s hard to find a photo of Ted’s teeth. For a few reasons.

#1: He has a long upper lip. This is something that happens to all of us as we age. We all start to show less teeth because our upper lip starts to elongate.

Some folks, including myself, are born with longer upper lips, which drapes our smile.

#2: He grinds his teeth. You can tell because all his teeth are flat and square. And most likely he’s unaware that he is doing it. Most people are habitual grinders, whether it’s during the day or at night.

Bernie Sanders

This is where it gets really bad. If I was his wife I wouldn’t have let him step out of the house with that dentistry, much less run for president. Digging up old photos, Bernie had nice teeth. He just had spaces.

At some point he had some orthodontics done to close some of the spaces. Along the way he ended up with a bridge on the upper left.

Hillary Clinton

She has had a few crowns on her front teeth. You can tell because the teeth are all one shade, with no variation in color or texture.

Also she’s had a crown on her upper left first molar. It’s obvious by how over contoured it is as well as it’s lighter shade.

More celebrity smiles to be analyzed in the future!
